That was a sure sign we’d be going home early or school would be canceled the next day. Well, check this out, it’s snowing in Memphis! I just looked at the web cam at cityofmemphis.org. Now, I’m just waiting for Snowbird to make the announcement. At least we hope there will be an announcement, we’ve let the kids stay up with anticipation of a snow vacation.

Oh, if only I had time to blog I must apologize for my poor blogging skills. Who has time, really? It’s 5:31 AM and I’ve been working all night on a billboard project for Interstate 40. Can’t say who it’s for yet, let’s wait for its debut next week. I’ll be sure to post of picture of it.

I must say, since creating the new website I’ve done a better job of updating projects. There are several I’d like to add, but will get to it, in time. Not today. So sad. For now I will try to catch an hours worth of rest before starting a whole new day.

‘Til next time! Cheers.

Well, after taking a close look at the old site, I determined that it wasn’t easy to navigate or update. So, here we go with a new website for The Color Theory. I suppose it’s the fourth one to date, and
Read the Rest...

Well, after taking a close look at the old site, I determined that it wasn’t easy to navigate or update. So, here we go with a new website for The Color Theory. I suppose it’s the fourth one to date, and I’m hoping will be the last. For a while, at least.

Be patient as I’m working hard to post more projects than I’ve had on the site before. I’ve been extremely busy the past few months, and technically don’t have time to create a new site for myself, but I’m doing it anyway. I think it’s important to make changes as design trends change.

So, come back soon. I may not be able to post ALL of my projects, but you’ll be able to view more work than you have in the past. Til next time!

Nathan and I took our son, soon to be eight, to the NWTF convention at Opryland Saturday. We had a great time! Our plan to not stay long turned into an all day event. I’ve actually got several customers who have booths at the show. Al Stone, with Hitting the Mark Agency, has blessed me with several customers in the outdoor industry. It was a joy to see some of my graphic design work at their booths. They include SpookNation, Outer Armour Blinds, Big Buck Properties, and Buckthorn Camo.

One of the highlights of our day was listening to Ralph Duren, the Grand National Turkey Calling Champion. He was amazing! He not only calls turkeys, but can sound just like any animal you can ever imagine. Our son was completely mesmerized by his skills. Well, we were too. If anyone has ever heard this guy, tell me what you think. Anyway, just wanted to share what a good time we had.
